FOR PAINFUL AND
ARTHRITIC JOINTS
The freedom to run, to
walk, to move our hands,
is as precious to us all as the air we breathe.
How
Glucosamine Sulphate can help ease
Joint Problems and Associated Pain.
Why Glucosamine Sulphate?
Glucosamine
is proving to be one of the best weapons in the war against Arthritis, painful joints, damaged ligaments
and tendons and even more important, it also forms Synovial Fluid, the substance that helps lubricate the joints.
Arthritis,
Osteoarthritis and other joint problems of the same ilk are in
effect degenerative diseases.
One of the most common diseases affecting some people as they
grow older is Osteoarthritis. This can be very painful indeed. It is purely down to the wearing
out of the joints, and/or the joints ceasing to function as they originally did. Often this is down to lack of Synovial
Fluid, which the body
ceases to produce in the quantities it originally did. If this is accompanied by a wearing
out of the joints and tissues surrounding them, you can see why there is a problem. The bones
quite literally grind together. Devoid of the lubrication of the Synovial Fluid, they wear out,
and the problem goes from bad to worse. Eventually it may end up in complete
immobilisation.
The logical thing to do therefore is to regenerate the
joints and to restore them to their original health, or as near to it as possible.
Clinical researchers using 1500mg of Glucosamine daily for 6-8
weeks have reported significant improvement in joint mobility and freedom of
pain over extended periods of time, i.e. three months or more.
What is Glucosamine Sulphate?
Glucosamine Sulphate is in fact, a form of sugar which is
utilised in the production of tendons, ligaments and connective tissue within the body. The
sugar is actually mucopolysaccharid, which distinguishes it from other forms of
sugar such as sucrose, glucose and the like. These are used for energy ultimately, whereas the former is mainly involved in helping to re-build and re-structure the components
surrounding the joints.
It
also has other functions, principally in the area of growth and
replenishment. It is involved in the formation of tissue of the eyes, skin,
bone, amongst other things,
Naturally
enough, anyone suffering from joint pain and partial or even
total immobilisation isn't too concerned how it came about. What they want is relief,
or if possible a cure.
Tests &
Research
Glucosamine Sulphate has been shown in numerous tests,
scientifically carried out, with double blind placebos and the like to be remarkably
effective in treating joint problems.
According to proven
clinical research Glucosamine out performs anti-inflammatory drugs over a period of time in relieving arthritis pain without
any side effects.
Doctors
in America and a number of European countries are prescribing Glucosamine for the relief of Arthritis, painful joints and sport
injuries.
Glucosamine
Sulphate has been shown to initially relieve the
symptoms of joint problems, aches and pains. No minor effect in itself. Beyond that
it has been further shown to actually restore tissue to the point where it recovered to the
same level as it was before degeneration set in.
Now, as with most things, this response to any natural element
varies. Some people get almost complete restoration. Others may experience relief
from pain, better mobility than before and the prevention of further deterioration.
In virtually all instances where Glucosamine was used in tests,
everybody trying it found some benefit.
There are no known side effects and it can be taken with any
other medication that may be prescribed
Essentially, the basic benefit of Glucosamine is in its capacity
to actually restore cartilage and connective tissue. Since it is a primary factor in
development of these areas in the first place , it is logical to assume that it can
also regenerate them if they are worn.
Dosage
Glucosamine is found in the diet in small amounts. Not enough to
have any real restorative benefit. To achieve the effects of pain relief,
greater mobility, a strengthening of the joints, re-growth of worn cartilage and other responses to
this substance the amount to be taken is greater than can be found in your normal diet.
The optimum dose is 1500mg a day. Taken in
capsule or tablet form.
Generally Glucosamine absorbs better with food.
.
Care should be taken when purchasing Glucosamine Sulphate as there are many differences
in quality available.
There is little value in taking one capsule of 400 or 500mg as it will only
create a situation of under-dosing and therefore no end result.
It would appear that in nearly all
cases where Glucosamine has not worked it has been through under-dosing.
As with most things you don't know what it will do for you
until
you try it.
If joint pain and all that accompanies it is a problem for you
Glucosamine Sulphate may be just what you need to solve the problem, relieve the pain
and get you mobile again.
Thousands
of people have discovered the benefit of it, probably you will
too.
